MEET CAPO DIABLO

1. When did you start making music?

I started making music at the age of 10 years old. That’s when I wrote my very first rhyme.

2. What does music/hip-hop mean to you?

Music and Hip-Hop to me means unity, therapy, freedom, and having a voice. It’s a way to express myself, connect with people, and turn real-life experiences into something meaningful.

3. Who inspired your sound or journey?

My pops, my uncle, and my cousins inspired my sound and my journey. I started performing on stage with my pops and uncle around the age of 6 or 7, and from that moment on I knew music was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

4. Dream collaboration?

I would love to collaborate with Chris Brown, 50 Cent, The LOX, ScarLip, Lola Brooke, and Cryssy Bandz.

5. What does PushMoneyEnt mean to you?

PushMoneyEnt means positivity, hustle, uplifting others, loyalty, and having a true go-getter mindset. It’s about building something meaningful while staying true to yourself and your people.

6. What are you pushing? (PME signature question)

We’re pushing positivity, creativity, opportunity, uplifting independent artists, real Hip-Hop, and a go-getter mentality. We believe in building together instead of tearing each other down.

7. Top 5 hip-hop artists (dead or alive)

That’s an extremely hard question because there are so many artists I look up to and learned from, but my top 5 would be DMX, JAY-Z, AZ, Nas, and Jadakiss.

8. Where do you see PushMoneyEnt and your journey in the next 5 years?

In the next 5 years, I see PushMoneyEnt becoming an empire and a powerful independent platform for music, creativity, and culture. As for myself, I see myself becoming a megastar while continuing to inspire and motivate people through my journey and my music.

MEET GT$

1. When did you start making music?

- I started making music the year DMX’s first album dropped, 1998.

2. What does music/hip-hop mean to you?

- Hip-hop is the culture I was raised in. I am a child of hip-hop. It means the world to me.

3. Who inspired your sound or journey?

- Many people inspired me, personally and professionally. As a fan, I was inspired early on by Run-DMC and Naughty by Nature, and then ultimately by Wu-Tang Clan. When Wu dropped, I was ready to contribute as an artist, at least in my mind I was.

- Personally, my family and everyone around me inspire me to continue. Capo, MK, Mir LaQuan, A Racks, my team homi family, my Rebel Army bros still out here killing it, my Sniper Core, my Hoodie Boys, my fam in ENY (Big Solid and Hydro), my Mugga Gang fam in Brownsville, my UGA family, Frank Knight, and everybody over there keeping independent hip-hop alive and strong, and many many others.

- I get inspiration from anything or anyone that is positive around me.

4. Dream collaboration?

- My dream collab would be with Method Man. I told you… Wu-Tang forever!

5. What does PushMoneyEnt mean to you?

- Push Money is the legacy. Family first.

6. What are you pushing? (PME signature question)

- I’m pushing lyrical excellence. I’m pushing the uplifting of my people and the integrity of the culture overall.

7. Top 5 hip-hop artists (dead or alive)

- I can’t give a top 5 dead or alive because that’s incredibly difficult to do. I’ll give my personal top five instead.

- No debating my opinion. No particular order: Treach, Method Man, Jay-Z, Biggie, Chino XL

8. Where do you see PushMoneyEnt in the next 5 years?

- I see Push Money becoming the next big thing out of the Tri-State. I see the artists on PME changing the way people view hardcore lyrical artists.

- We make hits, we make vibes, and we make history.

MEET MIRLAQUAN

1. When did you start making music?

- I started making music at the beginning of 2022 just to play around, and I never stopped.

2. What does music/hip-hop mean to you?

- Music to me is pure expression. It’s about what you feel from the music and how you relate to it. Sometimes, you just have to hear it in a song to know you’re not alone.

3. Who inspired your sound or journey?

- I came into this journey to help get my words out. I’m not always good at expressing myself, but through music, it becomes a piece of cake to say what I need to say. I was inspired by Lil Uzi Vert and the way he makes his music catchy, but when you really listen, he’s actually speaking on the things he goes through.

4. Dream collaboration?

- I get a lot of my sound from Uzi, so it would be cool as hell to collaborate with him. I’d treat it like a challenge too, just to see who’s gonna flow better.

5. What does PushMoneyEnt mean to you?

- Push Money. No playtime. BULLY time. Product of my environment. We here, and we gon’ show you what’s up off rip.

6. What are you pushing? (PME signature question)

- I’m pushing peace overall because that’s all I’ve been trying to find for I don’t even know how long now. I’m also pushing self care and prosperity through my music, just to show that if I can do it, so can you. Always aim to be better than you were yesterday.

7. Top 5 hip-hop artists (dead or alive)

- Juice WRLD, Lil Uzi Vert, and NBA YoungBoy. If I throw in two more, I’d just be adding names to make five. These three artists have all made me feel something through their music in numerous songs. They are major inspirations behind the type of lyrics I put into my songs, raw and straight to the point.

8. Where do you see PushMoneyEnt and your journey in the next 5 years?

- In the next five years, we gon’ be bigger than ever. This right here is a movement, not just a rap group. If you get it, you get it. If you don’t, you don’t, but you will soon. I see PME being a real inspiration to others and bringing a whole different energy into the game. We gon’ make music feel like art again, not just meaningless songs with a catchy beat.

- I started making music around 19 or 20, but it wasn’t until the passing of my grandmother in 2019 that I really started taking it seriously.

3. Who inspired your sound or journey?

- My inspiration for getting into music came from my older brother, who is also an artist.

4. Dream collaboration?

- My dream collaboration would be with Kevin Gates and Lloyd Banks.

5. What does PushMoneyEnt mean to you?

- Push Money, to me, means family, loyalty, and dedication.
